Wednesday night marks our last "normal" TV night of this week, due to celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. CBS won in both demos and total viewers to send the network brass in to the long weekend happy.
On FOX, a two-hour X-Factor went up 12%, just as it did last week. On the Eye, Survivor and Criminal Minds both dropped three tenths, while CSI dropped two. As for the Alphabet network, the annual showing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving went up four tenths from last November. Unfortunately, lead-out Private Practice still fell to a terribly low 1.0.
NBC's Wednesday comedies Whitney and Guys With Kids continue to pull suck-tastic demos, with both posting 1.1s. Law & Order: SVU and Chicago Fire dipped as well. The CW effectively took the night off, airing a presentation of the classic 80's holiday film Planes, Trains, and Automobiles instead of any original programming.
