Babies and growth were the themes on this week’s episode of Fox’s “New Girl.”

After a visit from her lesbian gynecologist friend Dr. Sadie (June Diane Raphael) Jess (Zooey Deschanel) fears she is left with only weird and evil eggs, although it turned out she had eggs but no sausage (her words, not mine). Cece, (Hannah Simone) however, found out she does not have much time left to conceive, and is left wondering if her boyfriend Robby is her ideal mate.
My favorite part of the show was when Nick decided to become Ernest Hemingway, though he didn’t know a lot about him. To that end, he dragged Winston (Lamorne Morris) with him to the zoo. Nick finally finished his zombie book, which also included a word search with no words.
Schmidt (Max Greenfield) also realized that he was in love with Cece while having trouble pleasing his boss Emma (Carla Guigino). Clearly, we can all see where this is going. It has seemed inevitable since the start of the season that Schmidt and Cece would reunite, and I would guess it’ll come sooner than Nick and Jess getting together, which they should not rush.
I also hope this isn't the last we see of Emma, though that seemed like a conclusive end to her storyline.
