Last night saw ABC, FOX, and CBS wage a triple threat match for viewers, with the first two networks splitting the 18-49 demo win, while the latter had more total viewers.
On FOX, The X-Factor rose 27% from last week's pre-Thanksgiving episode. Over on CBS, Survivor climbed up 17%, while procedurals Criminal Minds and CSI posted single digit gains. On ABC, the (too early) annual showing of A Charlie Brown Christmas did what it usually does, while Modern Family and Suburgatory went up a bit. Unfortunately, Nashville matched its last new episode, scoring a 1.8 demo. A 1.8 isn't outright terrible for 10pm, but most likely won't be enough to get the show renewed.
On the Peacock, the annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center (why do all the Christmas specials air in November?) posted a four year high of 2.1, leading SNL's Christmas compilation special to rise to a 2.7. As for the CW, Arrow continues to hold strong, matching its last new episode. Supernatural dropped a little afterward, but still did well for its network.
