“MacGyver” is headed to “Apartment 23.”

Richard Dean Anderson will soon play himself on ABC’s “Don’t Trust the B#$%^ in Apartment 23.”
Anderson played the secret agent on the ABC series for seven series, ending in 1992. Anderson also began his TV career as Dr. Jeff Webber on soap opera “General Hospital” in 1976.
He also appeared in the “Stargate Universe” series, and more recently in episodes of Fox's “Raising Hope” and USA's “Fairly Legal.”
James Van Der Beek (sort of ) plays himself on the series, which stars Krysten Ritter as the “B.”
Actors Busy Phillipps (also “Dawson’s Creek”), Mark- Paul Gosselaar (“Saved by the Bell”) and Frankie Munitz (“Malcolm in the Middle”) also play themselves on the comedy, and it is expected Anderson will poke fun at himself.
