If the year was still 1992, this would be awesome news. Unfortunately it is 2012, so the fact that Pamela Anderson has landed an "acting" job does not resonate as much. Still, for a period of time she was an object of desire for almost anyone lucky enough to be born with a Y chromosome (easy, ladies) so I guess maybe that resonates still, somehow.
Anderson will be guest staring in 'Package Deal,' a Canadian sitcom that is scheduled for Citytv. Anderson, a native of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, will appear in three episodes as a zany therapist who deals with her clients in a unique, hand's on manner.
“Pamela Anderson has a great comic flair and is a perfect fit for the brilliant ensemble cast of Package Deal,” said Thunderbird Films president Michael Shepard, whose company produces the series, which will also see comedian Eugene Levy guest star.
The series is a multiple camera comedy about three brothers and the woman who comes between them. It stars Randal Edwards, Julia Voth, Harland Williams (!) and Jay Malone, and is filmed before a live audience in Vancouver.
Does this news do anything for you? Will it change the likelihood that you watch the series? If so, shame on you for not watching just because Levy is showing up.
She's still epic, don't lie.
Or maybe you're like 17 years old?
