BBC and ITV reveal Christmas Day Schedules

In only 3 weeks time we will have opened the presents and stuffed our faces full of festive foodstuffs.

Over on ITV1 the schedule has partialy been confirmed with a full schedule expected this time next week. The day is mainly filled with films, also soap fans keep your eyes out for when your favourite shows will be airing.

Other festive highlights this season will see 'Text Santa' return to ITV1 on 21st December, 'Strictly Come  Dancing's' final will air on BBC on 22nd December. 'Merlin' s last ever episode will air on Christmas eve. In honour of 'The Snowmans' 20th anniversary, the sequel 'The Snowman and the Snowdog' will air on Channel 4 on Christmas day between 7.00pm and 7.30pm followed by a making of documentary. Adam Hills will host Channel 4's Alternative Christmas Day message.
