Elizabeth Banks returning to 'Modern Family'

Who remembers Sal, Cameron and Mitchell's party-girl friend from season one? Back in 1x08 "Great Expectations," Cameron and Mitchell called up Sal (played by guest star Elizabeth Banks) for a night on the town... with mixed results.

Well I am happy to report that Sal is coming back to 'Modern Family.' In an episode to be filmed this coming week, Elizabeth Banks will reprise her guest appearance, paying Cameron and Mitchell a visit to let them know the big news: Sal is getting married.

Banks recently appeared in fifteen episodes of the hit NBC comedy '30 Rock.' Banks has also been very busy, acting in several feature films, including 'Our Idiot Brother,' 'Man on a Ledge,' 'The Hunger Games' and 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.'

The episode of 'Modern Family' where Sal makes her grand return is set to air in early 2013.
