Jennifer Love Hewitt is all set to move forward on another project with cable network Lifetime, who is already working with the actress on a series adaptation of her book “The Day I Shot Cupid” in which she gives practical life and love advice. Now, Lifetime has agreed to move into the development stage of a new drama movie which will be titled “Mrs. G’s Bigger Love” and based on a blog entry by a woman named Heather Gatticio.
Heather Gatticio has a long running blog she has been updating since August of 2007, called Derfwad Manor. She admitted one day after watching all the episodes of “Big Love” if the premise of the show would work if the roles were reversed, that is, if it was one woman and three husbands. Gatticio, who in real life is a happily married mother of two, contemplated the outcome of becoming a female polygamist and marrying George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. The blog post became a huge hit among her followers, and now Gatticio will get to see her bloggy dreams come true!
The TV adaptation will feature a bored Seattle housewife and her fictional blog site where she chronicles her "day in the life" of a female polygamist story. Of course, she isn’t truly a female polygamist, but no one needs to know that. When her blog attracts attention, she is offered a book deal and is forced to cover up the truth about her real and very normal home life to protect her secret and find fame and fortune.
Hewitt will executive produce the project along with the help of Jeanie Bradley, executive at Fedora Films, who currently has a first-look deal with Lifetime.
