Novak and Kaling to reunite on 'The Mindy Project'

BJ Novak and Mindy Kaling have been inseparable in the media since playing Ryan and Kelly on 'The Office.' Several media sources speculated a romantic relationship between the two friends, and this latest news is bound to pour some gasoline on that fire.

BJ Novak, who is a Producer on Kaling's series 'The Mindy Project,' will soon begin filming a multi-episode arc for the show in a recurring role.

On 'The Office,' Ryan (Novak) and Kelly (Kaling) were a nauseatingly-loving couple. Now, on 'Project,' Novak will play Jamie, a Latin professor who bonds with Mindy over their love of the dead language. Along with Novak, Eva Amurri will guest on the program as Jamie's friend, Lucy.

Kaling is an actor, writer, producer, and best-selling author. 'Project' follows Mindy, an Indian-American woman with a terrific career, who is desperately trying to break some bad habits in her personal life.
