Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to Present Top Ten List on 'Letterman'

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards with their arms around one another

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have been on countless Top 10 lists in their time, but they haven’t experienced one quite like this yet. Next Tuesday, December 11th, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones will be appearing on “Late Show With David Letterman” to present the Top 10 list.

What will make this visit a little more memorable for fans and for Letterman is that the rock and roll legends have never appeared on his stage – that is, they haven’t been on it since it was the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theatre. The Stones appeared on “The Ed Sullivan Show” starting in 1964, but have not made a return journey to what is now Letterman’s late night show home since it was turned over.

It looks like it is going to be a busy week for these gentlemen.

Jagger and Richards, currently on their 50th anniversary mini-tour, are already going to be in the New York City area as they have been added to the star studded lineup ready to perform at Madison Square Garden on December 12th for the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert. They have two more performances lined up after that in Brooklyn and in Newark, NJ.
