An American lifestyle channel is heading to the Middle East.
Fine Living has signed a carriage deal with direct-to-home platform OSN to carry the network across the Middle East. Scripps Networks International said the channel will debut on the platform on January 1, 2013, and that the channel would be available in all 26 OSN territories throughout the region.
The channel will be presented in English with Arabic subtitles and focus on in-home design, cuisine, travel and the style choices people make in their personal lives. It will be presented on OSN's basic tier package.
"We are very pleased that Fine Living will soon join the already carried Food Network on the OSN platform," said Scripps EMEA managing director Jon Sichel. "We look forward to expanding our distribution relationship with OSN and continuing our success."
