'Saturday Night Live's Abby Elliot is fresh off of a guest appearance on the smash hit sitcom 'Two Broke Girls;' now, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that she's headed for an appearance on ABC's 'Happy Endings.'
Max (played for laughs by Adam Pally) is going to try to "play straight" in an upcoming episode of the third season. The woman who inspires him to go straight? None other than Abby Elliot. Cmon, she's gorgeous!
But it actually isn't Elliot's good looks that hooks Max's interest: Elliot will play Katie, a woman who has a connection that gets her great tickets to Chicago Bulls NBA games. Max will lead Katie on in order to score great seats, the scamp. The title of the episode that features Elliot is "Flowers for Al-gernon" and is scheduled to be broadcast in the springtime.
The impressive celebrity guest roster for 'Happy Endings' third season also includes Mark-Paul Gossellaar, Rob Corddry, Christopher McDonald, Julie Hagerty, Nick Zano, and RuPaul.
'Happy Endings' follows the dysfunctional adventures of six best friends living in Chicago--otherwise known as the 'Friends' formula. The ABC comedy stars Eliza Coupe as Jane, Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad, Casey Wilson as Penny and the aforementioned Adam Pally as Max.
'Happy Endings' airs Tuesdays at 9:00pm ET on ABC.
