For the second straight Monday, CBS won both the demo and total viewer crowns.
Speaking of the Eye, a special one-hour HIMYM rose two tenths from last week, while 2 Broke Girls dropped three tenths. To be fair to TBG, last week was one of their highest ratings ever. Mike & Molly also rose two tenths, although Hawaii Five-0 dropped a little.
The performance finale of The Voice was up from both last season and last week. The premiere of 1600 Penn did pretty well, on par with what Go On usually pulls down, but next week will be the real test that shows us if the new political comedy really has legs. Take It All continues to rest around 1.5, way down from the 2.2 of last Monday's premiere.
The first hour of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition dropped two tenths, while hour number two tied last week's totals. FOX basically took the night off, airing three not-so-popular Christmas specials, with both doing what you'd expect. The CW celebrated the end of Gossip Girl, with a special at 8 doing an 0.6, and the actual series finale at 9 posting a season high of 0.8. Yikes, when your series finale draws an 0.8, you definitely aren't bowing out on top, even for the CW.
