MTV2 will have a sort-of real- life “Entourage” soon.

The cable channel has begun production on a reality series following music star Mac Miller and his homies (“The Most Dope Crew,” apparently) as they leave Pittsburgh for Los Angeles.
HBO’s “Entourage” of course featured Vincent Chase (played by Adrien Grenier) and his best friends moving from New York to Los Angeles as Chase’s career was taking off. No word yet on if Miller has himself a Turtle in his crew.
The six part series (yes, you read that right) will also show the production of his new album, “Watching Movies With the Sound Off.”
Miller, born Malcolm McCormick, released his debut album “Blue Slide Park” last year, and sold 144,000 in its first week and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200.
The show will debut in the first quarter of the new year, between late February and early March.
“Guy Code” will also return Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 11 p.m. ET/ PT. Jermaine Fowler, Dan SOder, Kevin Barnett, Pete Davidson and Tiffany Luu will join the show on its third season, along with regulars Andrew Schulz, Charlamange Tha God (oh God), Chris Distefano, Jordan Carlos, Lil Duval, Lisa Ramos and others.
