Last night saw NBC win the key demo, while CBS continues to draw more total viewers.
On the Peacock, The Voice's finale hit a season high, going up over a full ratings point from last week. NBC will be very pleased. Over on CBS, NCIS went up half a point, NCIS: LA went up three tenths, and even the up and down Vegas managed to rise a bit. A good night for CBS as well.
ABC comedies Happy Endings and Don't Trust The B both went up a small amount, but neither are doing well enough yet to ensure another season. Private Practice matched last week's numbers. As for the CW and FOX, you can now tell we're getting close to Christmas, as both networks effectively took the night off. FOX showed re-runs of its Tuesday comedies, and the CW broadcast " It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas", which isn't even the Muppet Christmas movie people really like.
