I'm doing a report today for the sake of completeness only. The only new show last night was Fringe, but sadly not even that advantage could give FOX the victory. The network tied with ABC in the demos, while ABC won outright with total viewers.
ABC aired a couple re-runs, followed by a news special hosted by Christiane Amanpour. FOX showed a Kitchen Nightmares re-run, and a new Fringe. NBC broadcast the Blake Shelton and Michael Buble Christmas specials (AGAIN), followed by Dateline. CBS programmed a mini-marathon of the Good Wife. The CW showed two one-hour animated specials. Yawn. TV has officially gone in to its annual holiday hibernation period. Check back after the holidays for all new daily reports, until then, have fun.
