Another piece has fallen into place for TNT’s new drama pilot “Legends” as the show has lined up Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff as executive producers and showrunners. “Legends” will come to you from the creator of the hugely popular series “Homeland”, Howard Gordon, and it will bring viewers into the CIA for something a little different. Based on the novel by Robert Little, “Legends” will centre on Martin Odum - a former CIA operative who is now taking the role of a private detective. The catch is, Odum also has the strange and unique ability to turn himself into a different person for each assignment.
“Legends” has an impressive cast to back up the idea, including Sean Bean (who will star as Martin Odum), Steve Harris ("Awake"), Amber Valletta (“Revenge”), Rob Mayes (“John Dies at the End”), Tina Majorino ("Napoleon Dynamite") and Lux Haney Jardine (“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”).
Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff have been partners as writers and executive producers together since 1987. Their credits include films such as the 2010 “Robin Hood” and 2008’s “Kung Fu Panda”, as well as the series “Sleeper Cell”, “Brimstone” and “Eleventh Hour”.
It is safe to say that the success of “Homeland” should be reflected in this new fall pilot as they continue to make great additions to both the cast and crew.
