Doctor Who: Madame Vastra and Jenny confront Doctor Simeon in this sneak peek

At the rate that BBC One is releasing sneak peeks of the Doctor Who Christmas special, "The Snowmen," we'll have seen the entire episode before it actually airs on Christmas day. But that's no matter: as long as they keep releasing them, we'll keep watching. 

This sneak peek, released on Sunday, doesn't feature the Doctor or his new companion Clara (Jenna Louise-Coleman). Instead, it features old friends Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh) and Jenny (Catrin Stewart), who we last saw helping to fight against Kovarian's forces in the series 6 episode "A Good Man Goes to War." Here, we see them confronting one of the villains of this episode: Doctor Simeon (portrayed by Richard E. Grant). 

They do so, of course, by cornering him a dark alley. The outcome of the confrontation is not seen, but you can tell that Simeon isn't very happy to be hindered by the pair, who he appears to recognize. 

It's not the meatiest of teasers, but it'll do. After all, we only have two more days until "The Snowmen" airs (also, Christmas)! Check out the sneak peek below.
