'Girls' was one of the critical darlings on 2012, as the HBO series became one of those things that every critic loved to tell you that a.) they were watching, b.) you should be watching, c.) if you were not watching, you were not hip.
Now the series is almost ready to return, as it comes back Sunday, January 13 at p.m. Expect to see lots of nudity and girls unhappy with their lot in life in the second season, if it holds true to what I understand the first season dealt with.
Here is the new trailer, the second for the sophomore season.
"Everybody acts like I'm nuts," says main character Hannah. "I'm not nuts; I just want to feel it all." We have all been there, sister.
Lena Dunham, the star and writer/creator of ‘Girls,’ has really become a name to watch in entertainment in the coming years, following her work on this series, as well as her film ‘Tiny Furniture.’ She can also be seen in the new movie ‘This is 40.’
I have not seen 'Girls' yet, but my wife received the first season yesterday so I am sure I will be subjected to it soon enough. Anyone seen it and have any words of encouragement?
