New petition calls for Piers Morgan to NOT be deported

Morgan

Thank God so many people have so much free time on their hands to get involved in this nonsense. As the first petition designed to get CNN host Piers Morgan deported back to the United Kingdom grows in size, a new petition has started asking the White House not to deport him.

The petition reads:

"We want to keep Piers Morgan in the USA. There are two very good reasons for this. Firstly, the first amendment. Second and the more important point. No one in the UK wants him back. Actually there is a third. It will be hilarious to see how loads of angry Americans react."

This petition is new and has not added a lot of signatures yet - big difference from the other petition, which has more than 71,000 signatures calling for him to get the boot. That petition reads:

"We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens."

Morgan finds the petitions amusing. On Twitter, he wrote ""Merry Christmas! Even to those who want me deported."

I am embarrassed as an American that so many people have such negative reactions to people who disagree with them. Does the Second Amendment really trump the First Amendment by such a degree that this guy needs to be deported?

Piers is not the problem - the increasing amount of people who resort to such foolishness are much worse than someone wondering why people can get assault weapons that they use to hurt kids. Priorites, please.

The real question is; Why does a civilized country allow it's children to be slaughtered like cattle, and then support the shooters rights ?

My God, so many people are so ignorant. Pierce is a journalist, it's his job to question everyone and everything and start debates, including the "holy" U.S. Weapons laws. And then there is also freedom of speech, Pierce can feel and say that the 2nd amendment is a piece of cr*p or whatever he likes, that's his right too. You don't have to agree with him, but it's no reason to start such a foolish petition. Although I don't think anyone at the White House takes any of these petitions seriously.

I would love to play the role of King Soloman in this isssue.

As King to please those who want this man deported because he wanted to prevent the sales of automatic high powered machine guns and armor peircing bullets to the regular public as hunting tools I would  Deport Mr Morgan. Because after all the second amendment (that was wriiten at a time when the strongest and most powerful weapon was a 1 shot musket and then a sword) must be respected.!!

However,

The first amendment must also be enforced so If I enforce one I enforce the other, so I remove the right to sell all automatic high power assault weapons to the general public or at least to those who signed the petition. hihihi
