Fans have lit up message boards wondering if Mark (Jason Ritter) is part of 'Parenthood's' past, as his relationship with Sarah (Lauren Graham) seemed to be on the rocks after Sarah did the horizontal waltz with her boss, Hank (Ray Romano) in the show's Christmas episode. What a great present to give your significant other, huh?
Jason Katims, the series creator, gave an interview where he said that fans should not worry, as Mark will return. And apparently he might not be finished with Sarah.
“We certainly have set up that there’s a chemistry between the [Sarah and Hank] that they both are aware of, but this does not mean that Sarah has put an end to the relationship with her and Mark, either,” Katims said. “We have not seen the last of Mark ... there’s still more to be figured out. It’s not just over.”
Ritter also addressed his character's status, on Twitter, saying that "I'd like to address concerns some of you have told me you've been having, by saying this: It ain't over 'til it's over.#thecyralsorises"
Graham told the Huffington Post in October that Ritter had an interesting reaction to Romano's guest role.
"Ritter sent me a text that was like, 'Everybody doesn't really love Raymond, right?' There have been lots of plays on words," she said.
