Steve Buscemi Returns to 30 Rock

Steve Buscemi30 Rock is well into its sixth season, and though each week offers new surprises, a number of recurring guest stars are returning to the NBC sitcom as well. One of the most notable returns is Steve Buscemi as Detecive Len Wosniak.

Jack Donagy (Alec Baldwin) calls on the detective after he is mugged. "Jack wants Len to help him form a private police force where the salary starts at $5 million, so the police have the same interest in protecting the rich," writer and star Tina Fey told TV Guide.

Not only will Buscemi appear in the episode, but the Boardwalk Empire star will even return as director! This is not the first episode Buscemi directed. In 2009 he directed a 30 Rock episode, but did not appear in it. Buscemi’s role on the show is so memorable that he even won an Emmy in 2008 for his guest starring appearance.

Expect Buscemi to appear in the February 16 episode. Who else can you expect as guest stars in the next coming weeks on 30 Rock? Up All Night’s Nick Cannon, Emma Stone and Saturday Night Live’s Andy Samberg. Rumor has it even Will Arnett (also starring in Up All Night) is returning as Jack’s nemesis.

Good news for fans is the season may be short, but there’s a lot to pack into the next couple months. With such big names appearing on the NBC sitcom, it’s likely we can confidently say to expect the accompanying laughs until May.
