A new “squintern” is coming to Fox’s “Bones.”

Brian Klugman is joining the drama as the newest assistant at the Jeffersonian. He played KACL staffer Kirby Garnder (who had a crush on Roz) on “Frasier.”
His recurring character, Oliver Wells, is a four degree- having genius who is not at all intimidated by Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (played by Emily Deschanel).
Klugman, the nephew of late actor Jack Klugman, recently wrote, co- directed and appeared in the thriller “The Words” with Bradley Cooper. He has also appeared in the film “Cloverfield” and “Joan of Arcadia.”
Brian Klugman has also guest starred on “House MD,” “Mad Men,” “CSI,” “Psych” and “Castle.”
Jack Klugman died on Dec. 24 at age 90. He famously played Oscar Madison on “The Odd Couple” with Tony Randall.
“Bones” also stars David Boreanaz as Special Agent Seeley Booth, and John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets. The show centers on a forensic anthropologist and an FBI agent working together investigating causes of death in cases. Brennan is socially awkward while Booth is charming. Brennan is literal, while Booth works on instinct. Talk about an odd couple.
