An actress from the recently- canceled “Made in Jersey” is headed to NBC’s new medical drama.

Toni Trucks will recur on “Do No Harm.” She appeared in the pilot of the show but could not continue because of her “Made in Jersey” schedule.
Trucks played receptionist Cyndi Vega in “Jersey” until it was canceled by CBS. “Made in Jersey’s” last episode ran Dec. 29. Now she is free to play Dr. Patricia Rivers in the “Strange Case of Jekyll- and- Hyde”- inspired medical drama.
“Do No Harm” stars Steven Pasquale (“Rescue Me”) as a man with an alter ego. The show is scheduled to debut Jan. 31, 2013 on NBC after the “30 Rock” one- hour finale, and will have 12 episodes in this first season.
Trucks has also appeared on “House M.D.,” “Veronica Mars” and “CSI: NY.” Trucks also appeared in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2” as American Nomad vampire Mary.
Janet Montgomery starred as Martina Garretti in “Made In Jersey.” She was a blue- collar, street smart first- year lawyer in “Made in Jersey,” which apparently didn’t appeal to an America that also didn’t watch the finale of “Jersey Shore.” The romance is apparently over.
