Jamie Kennedy hosted NYE special for KDOC-TV a complete disaster
You know a gig must have gone horrendously wrong when you even feel badly for Jamie Kennedy.
KDOC-TV in Los Angeles decided to have their first ever 'New Year's Eve Live' show to ring in 2013. Something tells me there won't be another when we get to 2014.
The live broadcast featured several production errors, f-bombs, confusion and a lot of dead air.
The amateurish production was hosted by comedian Jamie Kennedy ('Fanboy and Chum Chum') and featured appearances by Shannon Elizabeth ('Golden Winter') and musical performances by Macy Gray and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Each of the stars seemed confused, unrehearsed and uncomfortable, judging from footage of the broadcast which was posted online yesterday.
At one point, comedian Stu Stone was embarassed when a woman in the background mouthed the words on his teleprompter. Later, the camera held for forty seconds (a lifetime in television) on a befuddled Kennedy while the audio of a curse-laden conversation of unseen production assistants was broadcast overtop.
