Going up against the NCAA Bowl Championship Game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Alabama Crimson Tide, World Wrestling Entertainment is turning to one of the biggest movie stars in the world to help the ratings not fall below a 2.0 - "The Rock” Dwayne Johnson.
The Rock, a former multiple-time WWE Champion, is coming back now to begin the build to his match at Wrestlemania 29, which will be the third Wrestlemania in a row that he has been a part of after being away from the event (the Super Bowl of pro wrestling) for 7 years.
Prior to that, The Rock is scheduled to wrestle the WWE Champion - whomever that may be - at the WWE's next pay-per-view event later this month, the Royal Rumble. Currently the WWE Champion is C.M. Punk, who is scheduled to compete tonight against top contender Ryback in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the WWE Championship.
Whom The Rock faces at Wrestlemania is unknown at this time. Speculation is that he will be facing off against John Cena for the second year in a row. Cena is the best-known wrestler in the WWE today.
Will you be checking out The Rock's return tonight? Alternatively, will you be watching the BCS Game? Those are the only two options, right?
