For the second time in a week, change has rocked Vancouver. First it was the return of the National Hockey League and the hope that the Vancouver Canucks could finally overcome their hurdles and win the Stanley Cup (Spoiler alert: They don't). Now comes the news that Slice is shaking things up for the second season of their smash hit 'Real Housewives of Vancouver.'
Cast members Reiko Mackenzie and Christina Kiesel have been kicked to the curb. Robin Reichman, Ioulia Reynolds and Amanda Hansen have signed on to replace them, just in time for the February 5 second season premiere.
Returning to the cast will be Mary Zilba, Ronnie Negus and Jody Claman. No, I do not have any idea who any of these people are.
'Real Housewives of Vancouver' drew the biggest opening rating of any program in Slice history. The show was teased by Slice airing all the American 'Real Housewives' programs.
“Adding three new wives to our existing roster of fabulous stars is going to turn the series on its head, tripling the potential for new relationships, drama and spectacle,” said Barbara Williams, Shaw Media senior vp of content (they own Slice).
Have any of our Canadian readers seen the show? Is it any good?
