When you think of Graceland, you think of the King, Elvis Presley.
Jeff Eastin knows that. And he wants to change it.
Eastin, the creator of 'White Collar,' is the mastermind behind the newest program coming to USA, 'Graceland.' It will focus on a team of law-enforcement agents whose have to co-exist when they are forced to live together in a Southern California beach house. That would make a great 'Real World' season, wouldn't it?
'Graceland' is going to have a darker tone than much of what you see on USA.
"It is a dark show, but I consider it a reality-based show whereas White Collar creates its own reality," said Eastin. "There is a lot of darkness when it comes to being undercover."
Eastin said there was a lot of pressure when trying to follow up a successful program such as 'White Collar,' which has been renewed for a fifth season.
"The one thing I learned from White Collar was to cast it right," he said. "Once you get a cast right, to try to maintain the world you've created in the pilot."
The creator also revealed that the program was originally going to be called Safe House, but the title changed to Graceland - and is completely unrelated to Presley.
