'Torchwood' alum wants 'Revenge'

Emily Thorne is getting a new enemy. But unlike other characters on the program, this one is also not going to be someone the Graysons care for much either.

'Revenge' is adding British actor Burn Gorman as Trask, a recurring role. Trask is a member of the Americon Initative, which was aligned at one time with Conrad (Henry Czerny) and Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe). Americon Initative is behind the wrongful conviction of Emily's father for terrorism.

Helen Crowley (Wendy Crewson) and Gordon Murphy (James Morrison) are also members of the Americon Initiative on the program, although one of them is...well, no longer a member (I am trying not to spoil!).

Gorman, who starred on 'Torchwood' as Owen Harper, has also appeared on 'Bleak House,' Spies of Warsaw' and 'The Hour'. He also appeared in 'The Dark Knight Rises' last summer.

'Revenge' will be Gorman's first American TV production. He has a stellar reputation as an actor and I believe that he will be a good addition to the cast.

It is unknown when Trask will enter the program.

'Revenge' returned last night from its winter break. Did you catch the return episode? What did you think of it, and what do you think of this news?

- Revenge
