With "666 Park Avenue" going into foreclosure, Terry O'Quinn is returning to his old tropical stomping ground.

No, "Lost" fans, don't expect to see John Locke anytime soon, though he will reunite with fellow castaway Daniel Dae Kim, reprising his role on CBS' "Hawaii Five-0." O'Quinn played recurring character Commander Joe White on the reboot crime procedural before trying unsuccessfully to get the ABC series off the ground. White is a former Navy SEAL instructor and mentor of Alex O'Loughlin's Steve McGarrett, and assisted the team on several cases.
The actor had previously denied reports that he would be returning to the series, saying as recently as November that, "Regarding Joe White, if I have a chance (and they want me) I'll gladly do more... but I have no plans to do so at the moment."
CBS confirmed on Twitter that he will return in a future installment: "Just confirmed, Terry O'Quinn will return as the mysterious Joe White later this season and [McGarrett] has a LOT of questions [for] him!"
The last time viewers saw White, the SEAL had introduced McGarrett to the mysterious "Shelburne" aka McGarrett's mother. O'Quinn's return will no doubt trigger new revelations for the Hawaii crimefighters.
Are you looking forward to O'Quinn's return to the series?
