Christina Milian is set to join The Voice for its premiere this Sunday on NBC. Milian will work as a social media correspondent, connecting fans opinions’ and thoughts with the contestants. The Voice is the show to introduce this position, just as they were the first show to incorporate Twitter into the weekly program. Though it’s Milian’s first season in this position, her experience on the big and small screen it’s likely fans will warm up to her immediately.
In between filming The Voice, Milian is also preparing for a guest starring role on CBS’ “A Gifted Man.” CBS confirmed that Milian will appear in February as Shawnee Baker. Shawnee is a “successful pop star suffering from unuaul symptoms.” Not only will the episode feature Milian as a guest star, but it’s also guest-directed by Eriq La Salle.
"We're thrilled that Christina will be bringing her acting and singing talents to 'A Gifted Man,'" executive producer Neal Baer said via release. "She'll play a spoiled pop star who complains of a mysterious ailment zapping all her energy that even Dr. Michael Holt finds puzzling."
Michael Beach will play Shawnee’s manger, reuniting LaSalle and Beach for the first time since their “ER” days.
Before her days on The Voice and “A Gifted Man,” Milian guest starred on “CSI” and starred in the films “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, “Be Cool” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.” She also had a string of pop hits.
Will you be tuning into “A Gifted Man” for Milian’s role and the “ER” reunion?
