CBS has unveiled its summer schedule, including the greatly anticipated new miniseries 'Under the Dome,' which is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name.
'Under the Dome,' which is being produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, will premiere June 24 at 10 p.m. Production on the series begins next month in North Carolina and tells the story of what life would be like in a town cut off from the rest of the world by a transparent bubble.
'Big Brother' is one of the tentpoles of CBS' summer lineup and this year it is returning earlier than ever, as it premieres June 26 at 9 p.m. The show will air thrice weekly, on Tuesdays at 9 p.m., with evictions happening Wednesdays at 9 p.m. and on Sundays at 8 p.m.

Which of these series are you most looking forward to checking out? 'Under the Dome' is hands down the winner for me. An hour long baking series in prime time will be interesting, as well.
Well, the vast majority of the summer schedule is just re-runs of the fall shows, mostly from this year but possibly from past years as well...since I've already watched them once, I'm not going to be watching them again. I'm not into baking, so I won't be watching that. Rules Of Engagement and Unforgettable are returning shows that I've watched past seasons of, so I'll be watching them this year as well. As Josh pointed out, Under The Dome is pretty much a no-brainer...it'll probably do really well, since there's very little else new or of interest on and, well, it's Stephen King :-) I haven't watched Big Brother (God what a stupid show) since the 3rd season, so I won't be watching this year either...now, if they showed nudity and sex like some of the European versions do, that'd be a different story :-)
What does that mean by How I Met Your Mother will be returning in June, its still on now, the next episode is this monday coming
