Banshee: Two New Clips From Episode 2

Last Friday night saw the premiere of the new Alan Ball (True Blood, Six Feet Under) produced serial drama Banshee. The Cinemax original series stars New Zealand born actor Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, a convicted criminal and master thief. Recently released from prison, Lucas goes on a hunt for his accomplice from his last diamond heist, who also happens to be his ex-girlfriend.

Along the way, Lucas stumbles upon the body of a small Amish community's newly arriving sheriff. The town is called Banshee, and Lucas quickly assumes the lawman's identity and begins dishing out his own brand of "justice" on the locals. But what does he really want out of all this? To find the diamonds he lost in the heist that put him away? To win back his ex? Or is he out to bring down the crime bosses that he used to work for? Only time will tell.

This week's second episode is called "The Rave". Feel free to dig into the two clips below, followed by the official plot synopsis:

Plot Synopsis: "Hanson (Toby Leonard Moore), a desperate underling of Proctor, holds a rave in an Amish barn, selling homemade E pills stolen from his boss to Banshee youth, including Deva (Ryann Shane), Carrie’s rebellious daughter. Catching wind of the plan, Lucas and his team orchestrate a raid, but the effects of a tainted batch of pills send many revelers into convulsions, with one notable fatality. Though Deva is ferried home safely by Lucas, Hanson isn’t as fortunate when he returns to Kai’s mansion following the debacle."
