New 'Game of Thrones' promo released

03.31.13. If you are a fan of HBO's Game of Thrones, that date should be pounded into your brain already, as that is when the series returns for its third season.

Season 3 promises to be an exciting one, as it covers the events of George R.R. Martin's "A Storm of Swords," the third in his "A Song of Fire and Ice" series. Readers of the series consider it (by and large) to be one of the best of the five books that have been published already.

HBO has done its part to keep interest high, releasing posters, still images and video consistently to keep viewers prepared for March 31. A new promo video has been released, which gives us perhaps the best look at the third season thus far. 

The video characters shows us glimpses of Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), and newcomers to the show such as Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds) and Lady Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg).

In addition, this season will also take us north of the Wall, as Jon Snow (Kit Harington) has been captured by wildlings at the end of the second season. I think that is the storyline I am most interested in seeing.
