Looks like the ghost of “The Office” will continue to reside at NBC.

Producer Greg Daniels and Craig Robinson have received a pilot order for a single- camera project. It will revolve around a talented musician (played by Robinson) adjusting to life as a middle school music teacher.
“Office” supervising producer Owen Ellickson will write and exec produce the pilot for Universal TV, Deedle Dee Production and 3 Arts Entertainment. Daniels, Deedle Dee’s Tracy Katsky and 3 Arts’ Howard Klein and Mark Schulman will executive produce. Robinson will also be a producer.
Robinson played “Darryl” on “The Office,” and has also appeared in “Pineapple Express” and “Zack and Miri Make a Porno.”
This is Daniels’ second pilot order for the season, as he has an untitled project with “The Office’s” Robert Padnick, also at NBC. This one revolves around dating in your 20s and is told by a group of friends.
NBC has also approved pilots including “Joe, Joe & Jane,” an “About a Boy” adaptation from Jason Katim and an untitled Sean Hayes project.
Daniels is represented by WME, 3 Arts and Ziffren Brittenham, while Robinson has representation from UTA and 3 Arts.
