The girl who is about to meet the world has been found.

Rowan Blanchard, an 11- year- old actress, will play Riley Matthews on the Disney Channel’s update of “Boy Meets World.” Executive producer and showrunner Michael Jacobs’ follow- up has also received a pilot order.
The pilot of the update will start filming in February. It is unknown if any of the original’s other stars will return.
Cory Matthews (played by Ben Savage) and Topanga Lawrence (played by Danielle Fishel) will reprise their roles on the spinoff. The couple are happily married in “Girl Meets World” and also parents to 13- year- old Riley. The story is told from Riley’s point of view.
