Lifetime’s successful veteran drama, “Army Wives”, is about to get a little more dreamy as it heads into its seventh season. As the show is continuing to add new cast members before the March 10th premiere, Brant Daugherty (“Pretty Little Liars”) has joined the line-up, and his character will reportedly be a major recurring role. Daugherty is best known for his recurring role on “Pretty Little Liars” on ABC as the former love interest to Lucy Hale. He also had a recurring role on “Days Of Our Lives”.
“Army Wives” follows the lives of men and women living with their spouses and families on an active Army post. Daugherty will be playing the role of 2nd Lt. Patrick Clark, the son of Jackie (Kelli Williams) and Kevin (Robert John Burke). Patrick is described as “An intelligent, capable infantry officer freshly minted from West Point who is eager to prove himself in combat.” Patrick will also serve as a love interest for Gloria (Alyssa Diaz), and for this reason it us very possible that he may become a regular in the next season.
“Army Wives” has also recently added three new actresses to the season seven lineup, including Ashanti, Torrey DeVitto and Elle McLemore.
