Best known for playing Bailey Salinger on FOX's popular Party of Five, Scott Wolf will be joining the cast of TNT's Perception in a recurring role.
The upcoming second season of the crime drama will feature Wolf as a charismatic and fast-rising Assistant U.S. Attorney named Donnie who has recently been transferred back to Chicago. Although he claims his transfer was random, Donnie has a hidden agenda concerning his soon-to-be ex-wife FBI agent Kate Moretti, played by Rachel Leigh Cook.
Perception stars Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) as Dr. Daniel Pierce, an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. He possesses an intimate knowledge of human behavior and a masterful understanding of the way the mind works, as well as an uncanny ability to see patterns and look past people's conscious emotions to see what lies beneath. The hallucinations from which he suffers also act as a gift, forging connections that his conscious mind can't yet process.
Cook's Agent Moretti is a former student who looks past Pierce's peculiarities and seeks his expertise on certain cases.
Following his role on the long-running Party of Five, Wolf portrayed Dr. Jake Hartman on The WB drama Everwood and a morally ambiguous journalist named Chad on ABC's sci-fi reboot V.
