Earlier this week, we brought you the news that Cinemax's latest original series Banshee had been renewed for a second season. Today, we have three new clips to share from tonight's fourth episode. The show has been quite the barn burner so far (no Amish pun intended), but I have a feeling it only gets better (worse?) from here for the residents of the titular community.
Our first selection features "Sheriff" Lucas Hood in some hot water, and in need of rescue. Stay until the end for a choice car chase scene.
Next up, Lucas' associate Job (who happens to be a transvestite) both lays down the law and kicks the butts of some jerks at a diner.
The last clip sees Lucas questioning Deva, who still doesn't know she's his biological daughter. This lends an extra air of amusement to their interactions.
Finally, here's the official synopsis for the episode, entitled "Half Dead is Better than All Dead":
"A botched museum heist in Harrisburg has unintended consequences, as Lucas (Antony Starr), Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) and Job (Hoon Lee) renew their partnership, at least for the moment. Later, after coercing redneck henchman Arno (Kristopher Kling) to offer up incriminating evidence, Lucas and Emmett (Demetrius Grosse) arrest Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen) for Hanson’s murder, but are detoured on the way to the jail. Sugar (Frankie Faison) looks for a cut; Kendall (Daniel Ross Owens) gets roughed up; Lucas and Carrie love the ones they’re with."
Are you keeping up with Banshee? Are you happy it got renewed for season two?
