CBS' Monday line-up returned after a couple of weeks off, easily reclaiming the night for the Eye.
HIMYM rose a healthy 8%. The seventh (!) season premiere of Rules Of Engagement fell 14% from last season's debut, but rose a whopping 48% from its May finale. 2 Broke Girls and Mike & Molly both posted single digit drops, while Hawaii Five-0 matched its last new episode.
In what is most likely a direct reaction to CBS' return from hiatus, Bones and The Following both dipped 12% for FOX. Following fans have no reason to worry quite yet though, as A. it still did quite well, and B. its DVR viewership is crazy good. The show will have to continue to drop for several more weeks before FOX even considers axing it.
On ABC, The Bachelor dropped 4%, and Castle dropped 10%. NBC didn't do any better, as The Biggest Loser set a season low, and the ever floundering Deception matched last week's series low. It's about time to stick a fork in Deception, because it doesn't have a chance in hell of getting renewed at this point. The CW saw some good news for once, as The Carrie Diaries hit a series high. "Diaries" debuted to mediocre numbers, but has really rebounded as of late. A second season is looking ever more likely. Lead-out 90210 matched last week.
