An upcoming Showtime drama has enlisted a “Grey’s Anatomy” alum.

Brooke Smith will recur on “Ray Donovan,” which revolves around a professional “fixer” for Los Angeles rich and famous. Liev Schreiber will play the title character.
Things get complicated for Ray when his father (played by Jon Voight) is all of a sudden released from prison. Co- stars include Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Katherine Moennig and Pooch Hall.
Smith played Dr. Erica Hahn on “Grey’s Anatomy” for four seasons. Her character, who was a lesbian depicted in a relationship with another woman, was then axed by the network. She will play a nurse this time, who will be a potential love interest for Terry (played by Marsan), Ray’s brother who has Parkinson’s disease.
Smith has also appeared in “Silence of the Lambs,” “Fair Game,” “Bad Company,” USA’s upcoming “Graceland,” “American Horror Story: Asylum” and “Weeds.”
Smith is represented by IFA Talent, Barking Dog Entertainment and by Peikoff Law.
“Ray Donovan’s” premiere will be June 30 at 10 p.m. ET. “Dexter’s” spring premiere will be moved to that night, so the Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter vehicle can help launch the new show.
