I guess the Friends theme song was telling the truth when it said "I'll be there for you, like I've been there before."
NBC has revealed that Courteney Cox will be reuniting with Matthew Perry on his freshman comedy series Go On. Cox and Perry were two of the six friends and their characters, Monica Geller and Chandler Bing, eventually married on the program and became parents.
Cox will appear as unnamed character who Anne (Julie White) tries to set up with Ryan (played by Perry). This will be the first time the Friends have appeared on-screen together since that series ended its 10-season run in 2004.
Cox has become a TV staple since then, with starring spots on both Cougar Town and Dirt, as well as guest appearances on Scrubs, Web Therapy and Private Practice.
Behind the scenes, this appearance also is a reunion between Cox and Scott Silveri, who executive produces Go On and did the same on Friends from 1996 to the final season.
Other friends have shown up in their former colleagues programs besides this. As noted, Cox has appeared on Lisa Kudrow's Web Therapy (as has David Schwimmer), while Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston each appeared on Cougar Town (Aniston also appeared with Cox on Dirt).
Where is the damn Friends movie already?! Forget the Entourage crap, we want our Friends back!
