The busiest man in rock has gotten another responsibility.

Rock star, talk show guest host and documentary filmmaker Dave Grohl will be among the presenters at the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Chris Tucker (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Fred Armisen (“Saturday Night Live” and “Portlandia”) and director Sofia Coppola will also be presenters at the awards show. “Saturday Night Live” alum Andy Samberg will host the event, which airs on IFC Feb. 23.
“Silver Linings Playbook” and “Moonrise Kingdom” lead award nominees with five noms each, including Best Feature, Director and Screenplay for both.
Meanwhile “Beasts of the Southern Wild” is up for four awards including Best Feature. "Silver Linings Playbook," which stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence is doing well this awards season. It is also up for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture.
Dave Grohl was the drummer for the legendary Nirvana, and now leads the Foo Fighters. He has also recently guest hosted "Chelsey Lately," and recently completed a documentary called "Sound City Music." Tucker is best known for his roles in "Friday" and the "Rush Hour" movies.
