For the fifth straight week, American Idol brought FOX the victory in all measures.
Despite the victory, AI still posted its lowest numbers since way back in 2002. Not good. Meanwhile, the 26th(!) season premiere of Survivor, subtitled "Fans vs. Favorites", fell nearly a whole point from last spring's premiere of "One World". This marks the lowest rated season opener to date. CSI followed that up by dropping as well.
The down night continued with ABC's The Middle hitting a season low. The Neighbors matched last week. Suburgatory rose a little. Modern Family rebounded a smidge after last Wednesday's season low, as did Nashville from its own series low. Over on NBC, Whitney did the 1.2 it does nearly every week. Lead-out Guys With Kids fell to a series low however. SVU climbed up a tiny bit. Chicago Fire matched last week's 1.9.
As for the CW, the recently renewed Arrow rose one tenth from last week's series low, while the likewise renewed Supernatural remained at its consistent 0.9-1.0 threshold.
