CBS' Monday dominance was tested last night, as the Eye tied with ABC in the key demos, and ABC won the total viewer race outright.
HIMYM rose 6%, while 2 Broke Girls dropped the same amount. Hawaii Five-0 also dropped. Mike & Molly rose a single tenth. Rules of Engagement matched last week. On ABC, The Bachelor and Castle both rose double digits.
FOX had a mixed evening, with Bones falling to a 2.1, but The Following recovering in a big way. The freshman drama/thriller rose four tenths, to a 2.8. If it can avoid another fall, we may end up getting another season after all.
NBC's The Biggest Loser only managed to rise a small amount from last week's season low. Deception matched last week's meager 1.2, and I now feel extremely confident in pronouncing this series dead as a doornail. Finally, the CW had a bad night. The Carrie Diaries fell 20%, but the real story is 90210, which sank to a barely existent 0.2 demo and ZERO share of the 18-49 audience. If 90210 gets another season, I'll eat my hat. Granted, I don't have a hat, but you get the idea.
