Elton John once famously sung a song titled "The B---- is back." That sentiment rings true today, as one of the ladies from the ABC series Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23 has landed a new starring role.
Anqelique Cabral will play Jill Pop on Fox's new comedy pilot Enlisted, which is being created by Cougar Town co-creator Kevin Biegel.
The series focuses on three very different brothers who work together at an Army base in northern Florida. Pop is a confident, focused Army sergeant at the base, who leads a unit in the rear detachment at the base. She is loved by her soldiers and believes that her soldiers can do no wrong.
Cabral has also appeared in Lifetime's Devious Maids drama, as well as Happy Endings, Free Agents and soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live.
Geoff Stults is staring in the series as Sergeant Pete Waits, who is described as a kid pretending to be a grown-up. He is sent home from Afghanistan after knocking out a superior officer and he joins the rear detachment, which is full of slackers. They are tasked with menial tasks such as washing tanks while waiting for their main unit to come back home.
