'Banshee': three new clips from tonight's episode

The saga of "Sheriff" Lucas Hood continues tonight on Cinemax, and we've got three new clips from tonight's seventh episode. Things have really started to get dicey for Lucas as of late, and judging by the episode synopsis presented below, circumstances aren't going to get much better any time soon. Not that viewers would really want them to, as Lucas is definitely most interesting when his back is against the wall.

This first clip features Ana giving Lucas quite the surprise:

Clip two sees Emmett chasing down an armed robber:

Finally, clip three features a healthy dose of Ben Cross' menacing gangster Mr. Rabbit:

And here's the official synopsis for episode seven, entitled "Behold a Pale Rider":

"Lucas’ cover is threatened when Carrie decides to give him over to Rabbit in an effort to protect herself and her family. Meanwhile, a drugstore robbery turns into a full-blown hostage crisis at the high school, with Deva (Ryann Shane) and Mayor Kendall’s wife Janie (Claire Bronson) among those whose lives are imperiled."

Banshee has become quite the success story for Cinemax's continuing push to become a player in the premium cable original series market. Strike Back and Hunted were also well received, and these three shows are quickly carving out a niche for Cinemax as the action network. And not the type of "action" the channel used to be known for, if you know what I mean.
