Greg Grunberg is heading back to the small screen.
The actor, who has appeared on Lost, Alias, Felicity, Love Bites and an upcoming comedy pilot for CBS from Greg Malins and Greg Berlanti, is best known for his role on Heroes, as Matt Parkman, a New York Police Department/Los Angeles Police Department police officer with telepathic abilities, which he later uses for mind control.
Now he is having some Doubt, in the form of the new drama pilot at ABC that goes by that name. On the show, he will play Mark, the older brother of main character Vince. Mark is developmentally disabled due to a childhood accident but still lives a full life, working as a receptionist at his brother's law firm.
Brother Mark is a former cop who now works as a low-rent lawyer while trying to use his knowledge of the streets to help his clients beat the system, while trying to get back together with his ex-wife and to overcome his own demons. The role is currently uncast.
The series is being developed by House's David Shore, who will write the script and executive produce it. Sony Pictures Television is behind the project. Tommy Schlamme is directing the pilot.
Sons of Anarchy's Rockmond Dunbar is in the cast as well, in an unnamed role.
