Rita Ora has revealed that Simon Cowell recently approached her to thank her for making a guest appearance on the X-Factor UK last year.
She sat in as a guest judge while Kelly Rowland's permanent replacement was still being decided through the auditions process.
The 'Shine Ya Light' singer reported recalling the moment Simon went up to her at the Brit Awards, she said:
"I actually met Simon finally at the Brits after all the things we did for the X-Factor. He came up to me, he said 'Thank you so much for doing that for the show.
I said 'Yea, of course, it's fine', he then looked at me, he gave me that look like there's something coming but he never asked me.
I'm like, what does that even mean? Like, 'I'll call you later', or, 'I'm never going to call you again?' Which one is it?”
She has ruled out appearing on the show full time. She claims she has a lot to do with her career and it would not be the right time.
She said: “I think right now I don't think it would be the right time to do anything X Factor. I'd love to come back in out and be a guest judge but if I was to take on the full role it would come from a place where I feel I'm satisfied with my career and right now I've got a lot to do.”
None of the 'X-Factor' UK panel have been confirmed for the show's tenth series later this year. It was recently reported that Tulisa would be axed from the current 'X-Factor' panel.
