Claire Cooper filmed her final scenes on Hollyoaks as Jacqui McQueen yesterday, after playing the role for just under seven years. The brash, loudmouth character has been involved in some of the shows major storylines in the past few years. But has decided to leave the role in order to pursue other projects.

From covering up Calvin Valentine's murder to marrying a illegal immigrant to allow him to stay in the country. Jacqui is certainly a character who has left her mark on Hollyoaks.
Claire enjoyed her last day on set yesterday and took to Twitter to thank the cast and crew on the show;
"So.. I arrived home with my last jacqui Outfit.. Rings, hoops & boots lay on my floor....the Formidable lady Jacqui McQueen rests....
Thank you to my dear @Hollyoaks @C4Insider family ...You guys are incredible people, I've had a life changing 6yrs & the cast, crew & every dept...have made it so very special.... Always a place in my heart #unforgettable #hollyoaks.
My dearest Bryan Kirkwood... Thank you... Thank you ...You are incredible ... thank you for creating Miss J McQueen @Hollyoaks .. Coops xx"
Claire won't be the only major character to depart in the next few weeks as brother and sister Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan) and Cheryl Brady (Bronagh Waugh) will both depart screens in March. Claire's final scenes are due to air in April.
Are you sad to see her leave?
